LunarLander! 1.01

This review discusses a lunar landing simulation featuring the Eagle module, viewed laterally as it attempts to execute safe landings on the Moon's surface.

The control scheme allows for module rotation via on-screen buttons labeled Left and Right, or through a compatible MFI joystick. Additionally, players can activate thrusters to burn fuel, using either on-screen controls or the joystick trigger.

The objective is to gently land the module on designated marked areas to earn bonus points. After each landing attempt—whether successful or resulting in a crash—the scenario resets, provided there is remaining fuel.

At the start, the player has 450 units of fuel. Successful landings reward the player with score points and replenish some fuel. When the fuel supply is depleted, thruster operation becomes unavailable, highlighting the importance of efficient fuel management.

The scoring system rewards different landing qualities as follows:

• 50 points for a perfect landing
• 40 points for a soft landing
• 30 points for a normal landing
• 20 points for a hard landing
